It's fast for unbiased, but in my experience it's not that fast when trying to get things noise free and all you can do is either brute force it or denoise it with optix or whatever. Nice node editor, can be rented for quite cheap I think it's 20 Euro a month. Octane: very easy to use, not a lot of settings just a few quirky things you need to know like ray epsilon.
